Cheesy Pulled Beef Spring Rolls

Ingredients
- Spring roll wrappers
- 1 cup shredded beef cooked
- 2 tablespoons barbecue sauce
- 1 tablespoon pepper paste optional, for heat
- 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese shredded
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- Prepare the Beef Filling:
- In a bowl, mix the shredded beef with barbecue sauce, pepper paste , garlic powder, paprika, and black pepper. Make sure the beef is well coated with the sauce and seasonings.
- Prepare the Spring Rolls:
- Lay out a spring roll wrapper on a clean surface.
- Place a spoonful of the seasoned shredded beef mixture in a line on the wrapper, leaving some space at the edges.
- Layer with Cheese:
- Sprinkle a layer of shredded mozzarella cheese on top of the beef mixture.
- Roll the Spring Rolls:
- Fold the sides of the wrapper over the filling, then roll tightly, tucking in the sides as you go. Use a bit of water or flour-water mixture to seal the edges.
- Fry the Spring Rolls:
- Heat oil in a deep pan or fryer over medium heat.
- Once the oil is hot, carefully add the spring rolls in batches.
- Fry until they are golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes per batch.
- Remove from the oil and drain on paper towels.
